39Kick channel points: rewards and the request queue
A points reward should be clear and feasible during your stream. Start with a simple action, such as choosing the next game mode that you are genuinely willing to play.
Create a reward
Management is in Streamer Dashboard. Enabling Channel Points reveals the reward configuration section.
- Enable Channel Points for your channel.
- In reward management, select Create New.
- Set the title, description, point cost, and color. Enable text input if you need a viewer’s answer.
- Add Reward Request Queue to the dashboard to see incoming requests.
Handle requests explicitly
When the action is complete, mark the request Complete. If you cannot fulfill it, Reject returns the points. You can pause redemptions when necessary; moderators can also help manage the queue.
Do not request personal information through a reward. The viewer’s response text appears in chat.
Check the reward
- The description explains what the viewer receives.
- Fulfillment does not disrupt the main stream format.
- You or a moderator can see the queue and know how to close a request.
Also check the default Hydrate reward: it can be changed, disabled, or deleted. Add options gradually and remove rewards you cannot keep up with.
