A DonationAlerts goal: amount, deadline, and stream widget

A goal widget shows what a fundraiser is for and how progress changes. Use a short title, clear amount, and deadline so viewers do not have to guess what the bar means.

Add the goal to OBS

Create the goal in DonationAlerts and display it through an OBS browser source. The widget link differs from the public donation page.

1. Open Donation goals and select Add new donation goal.
2. Enter the title, amount, and deadline, then save.
3. Copy the embed link and add a Browser source in OBS.
4. Paste the link into URL, confirm, and adjust source position and size.

Make the bar readable

Check the widget on your normal scene, not just a white preview. The title and numbers should be visible against the background without covering important game interface elements.

Use the widget’s own link. The public donation page is not a substitute for the goal browser source.

Before streaming

• The title matches the actual goal.
• The amount and deadline are correct.
• The widget loads and fits the intended scenes.

If you change the goal, check which fundraiser OBS displays after saving. Explain a change of purpose to viewers so a new title does not appear to continue the old fundraiser.
